Thursday's "Last Word" @ Friday

There will be a favorable wind gradient as well as a temperature inversion at about 9,000 MSL during the morning with steady winds (36 mph at 6,000) at 280-290.  However, field conditions are likely to prevent a launch early enough to take advantage of these factors.  Pray that tonight's winds aid in the process of sublimation!

The afternoon looks like a possible wave period, depending on the timing of the likely shift in the upper level winds to 260 or even more southerly.  I think 260 should work alright, but with the inversion scheduled to diminish, we will have to see how high we can go.

Great care must be taken of the field while it is so moist: do not drive on snow on grass.  If in doubt, speak with Jay or Jason.
