Forecast for Sunday Feb 21 updated

Right now, I think we are looking at fog in the morning and or overcast down to 3- 5,000 MSL. The wind models conflict slightly, one giving us 6,000 foot winds from 240, one from 270. Wind strength and gradient is sufficient, but we lack a temperature inversion so wave above the low cloud cover (if generated) will not be strong.  There is a possibility of an afternoon hole in the overcast in the lee of the mountain, so keep that in mind as you plan your day.  Little to no thermal activity is anticipated for Sunday.

UPDATE: 10:00 PM

The latest NOAA data calls for a small temperature inversion at 9,000 MSL.  If this holds, the predicted winds aloft could support wave formation.  If wave forms, it may drive large holes into the otherwise overcast skies.
